  • Series Four

Joint CNS and NANS Webinar Series: Intrathecal Drug Delivery

The appropriate diagnosis and patient selection for intrathecal drug delivery treatment has been a topic of controversy. The complexity of contributing factors and etiologies makes the prediction of successful outcome challenging. This webinar aims to discuss and clarify the latest evidence and help practitioners to improve patient selection and improve patient outcome.

Joint CNS and NANS Webinar Series: Building a Multidisciplinary Spine, Pain, and Neuromodulation Practice

Graduates who go into spine, neuromodulatory, and pain practices often have trained in sophisticated, mature programs. They have significant medical knowledge and procedural skill, but may have missed the systems based practice that went into building the foundation of those programs. Building a multidisciplinary practice specializing in a focus area requires a skillset that leverages technical skills, availability, and emotional intelligence which often draws upon interpersonal and communication skills in a setting of limited resources. This webinar aims to discuss different strategies used by neurosurgeons to develop their own subspecialty referral network focusing on evaluating the current state, knowing the future state, and negotiating for resources to grow a focus area of multidisciplinary care.

  • Series Three

Joint CNS-NANS Live Webinar Series: Multidisciplinary Approaches to Cancer Pain and Facial Pain

Cancer pain and facial pain are both heterogeneous and complex diagnoses. They are treated by a variety of providers who are often siloed in their own disciplines. Understanding the breadth of treatment options and the varying opinions of medical providers versus surgical providers is lacking. This webinar aims to discuss varied approaches to both cancer pain and facial pain diagnoses from a multidisciplinary perspective.
