    ACCME Accreditation Statement 

    The Congress of Neurological Surgeons is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education to provide continuing medical education for physicians. 

    AMA Credit Designation Statement
    The CNS designates this live activity for a maximum of 44.00 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™. Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.
    *A maximum of 21.00 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™ may be earned for Scientific Sessions only.

     Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.

    Additional CME Credits can be earned by attending the following:

    Symposia – (Saturday/Sunday)

    Half-Day Symposia Sessions

    Registered attendees will receive a maximum of 3.75 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™ for each eligible half-day morning symposia (A) and a maximum of 3.25 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™ for each half-day afternoon symposia (B).

    Full Day Symposia Sessions

    Registered attendees will receive a maximum of 7.00 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™ for each full-day symposia.

    LUNCHEON SEMINARS
    Attendees will receive a maximum 1.5 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™ for all eligible Luncheon Seminars.

    DINNER SEMINARS
    Attendees will receive a maximum of 2.0 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™ for all eligible Dinner Seminars. 

    INTERACTIVE MULTIMEDIA RESEARCH PRESENTATIONS
    Physicians may claim a maximum of five (5) AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™ directly from the AMA for preparing a poster presentation, which is also included in the published abstracts. Physicians may claim them on their AMA PRA certificate application or apply directly to the AMA for an  AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™ certificate.

    *Physicians may claim  AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™ for viewing scientific posters. Physicians should self-claim credit on their AMA PRA certificate application form. Please visit the AMA website for details at https://www.ama-assn.org/

     Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.


    You may now claim  CME credit or Attendance hours for the meeting.

    2023 CNS ANNUAL MEETING CME CLAIMING INSTRUCTIONS

    1. Click the blue “CLAIM CME NOW” button at the bottom of this page to begin the claiming process.

    2. You will be prompted to log in with the username and password for the cns.org website.

         a. Click the “forgot password” link on the log-in page to reset your password for the site.

    3. On the claiming page, click the blue “Begin” button at the bottom right side of the page or click the day link in the left margin.

    4. Starting with Saturday (or the first day you attended the meeting), click the drop-down box for each session attended and select the credits you would like to claim.

    5. If applicable, click the blue “Evaluation” button to complete the course evaluation.

    6. Once claiming is complete for that session or day, click the blue “Next” button to move forward or the blue “Previous” button to go back to another page.

    7. After claiming is complete for the meeting, click on the “General Evaluation” link in the left margin of the claiming page. The red asterisk denotes the required fields

    8. Click “Save and Continue” when the evaluation is complete

    9. You will automatically be taken to the “Summary” page to view all credit claims.

    10. Click “Finish” to finish claiming CME.

    11. The certificate will immediately be available to print or can be found under the “MyCME” section on www.cns.org
