    …The holiday season will soon be over and you have had no holidays. Well I hope next year we will have a home you can come too. We always looked forward to your home coming with great pleasure.…

    We were thinking if we didn't soon get back we would have to stay till spring, but that would be all right if we did. Pa says if we stay here this winter we ought to get furnished apartment. We are pretty comfortable here, but it is not like being to ourselves.…

    Don't forget to tell us how that poor man got along that had so many children that you went into his brain and did not find a tumor and all other of your patients. Glad broken back man is getting better.…

    I had two cards from Polly from Lake Geneva. I had twopence to pay on them. She only put hapenny stamp on. That is like Polly. Her mother is with her and Oliver is in New York. Goodbye my dear boy.
