    Well My Boy,

    The Lucetania has brought yours of August 30 and we have just read it after returning from Regents Park enjoying aurselves in pleasent surroundings on one of the most beautiful days I ever remember. Could sit in the big park adjoining the zoologicial gardens and in the distance could see at Hindon the flying machines and at the same time awer thoughts wandering and affectionally centred on awer boy some thousands of miles away. Even if air ships got out of awer view awer thoughts went much further and while we would like to be near and have a good chat and see you come home and enjoy yourself we are in a delemma what to do for the best.

    You mention taking furnished rooms for the winter but you don't tell us the price they could be got for. And realy I think you are to busy to bother about them. You certainly must have lots on your mind one way and another, and seeing you don't expect to be able to decide anything at all for 2 or 3 weeks yet. Even if then perhaps we had better conclude to stay here till the Spring. By that time you should be pretty well settled to your immediate location. However this is not final. But just what we thought today when talking over the matter.…

    Well you seem to be makeing good progress only 3 times from a good position. If you go to Chicago you may be worse. This of course you know best.…

    Say I bought the Boss a nice gold and diamond keeper ring today and she is as proud of it as you or I was with our first watch often caught looking at it. Say did you ever get your own watch fixed. If not send it and charge account to me especialy if you have ceased to be a Tom boy. My old one goes fine.…
