Course Description:
This CNS Oral Board Review Course explores and presents content through a variety of instructional methods, including didactic lectures, group case study discussions, and one on one sessions with instructors to hone their skills. Also included are breakout sessions covering cases in all subspecialty areas of neurosurgery. Relevant lectures on topics such as peripheral nerve, tumor, vascular, spine, and trauma will be presented. This course can serve as a foundation for your oral board preparation and offers a customizable experience for attendees taking a focused practice exam. Complimentary Hot Seat quiz sessions following the course are recommended to increase learning retention.
Learning Objectives:
Upon completion of this course, attendees will be able to:
- Evaluate gaps in neurological surgery knowledge and techniques.
- Discuss information that covers the breadth of the many subspecialties of neurological surgery and new advances in technology.
- Analyze clinical practice in accordance with recent advances and clinical guidelines.
- Strengthen case-based presentation and discussion skills.
- Apply improved knowledge of neurosurgery complications in clinical practice.
