The CNS and Surgical Theater Bring 360° Virtual Reality to Neurosurgery

The CNS and Surgical Theater are proud to bring an unprecedented virtual reality (VR) experience to the GSS Stage at the 2017 CNS Annual Meeting.

Attend Monday’s General Scientific Session from 11:38–11:59 am to experience an extraordinary and immersive VR neurosurgery environment—along with thousands of your colleagues, simultaneously.

Watch the stage as faculty experts discuss three challenging cases in an authentic virtual reality environment, and follow along as they plan their approach using your own smartphone and provided VR viewer to access 360° video of the case!

This remarkable, one-of-a-kind experience is made possible by Precision Virtual Reality by Surgical Theater, an enterprise-wide VR Visualization platform that integrates patient-specific surgical planning, navigation and education experiences with incredible VR-empowered patient engagement capabilities. Precision VR’s immersive, interactive view gives the surgeon advanced situational awareness, precise, patient-specific surgical plans and increased surgical navigational capabilities.

VR viewers will be provided to all attendees in Boston. To participate, you must download the VR mobile app prior to the session. Additional details and instructions to download the app will appear here in the fall.
