    Well My Dear Boy,

    …I am glad you are working with Dr. Finney. You should be able to learn lots with him and others much like him. Does the man that took Dr. Cushing's place get much work? Do you ever help him, since you diagnoised that tumor. I am glad to hear you got your book on the pittuary [pituitary] supply off your hands. It will free your mind some. And in addition will bring you before the medical world. When it is published send it to us. I don't think we can critique it but it will please us to see it. You have another to write haven't you?…

    I see in the English papers some time ago that a German company is going to run boats to the Pacific coast ports via Panama at the same rates as to New York.…
