In this episode, Dr. Bryan Choi interviews guest authors Dr. Neslihan Gecici and Dr. Pascal Zinn to evaluate the potential downsides of entering the ventricle during resection of a high grade glioma. The discussion includes the broader clinical context of this question, outcomes in patients with ventricular entry during surgery compared to those without, and strategies to avoid ventricular entry during surgery and/or mitigate the potential adverse effects if ventricular entry occurs.
