The CNS Skull Base Fellows Course is currently at capacity, but we are offering a waiting list in case there are cancellations. The event takes place September 16–17, 2021, at Case Western Reserve University/University Hospitals Cleveland Medical Center in Cleveland, Ohio.
Specifically designed for skull base fellows or early-career neurosurgeons with an interest in skull base surgery, this two-day intensive course offers:
- A combination of lectures, case-based discussions, and hands-on cadaver dissections covering the basic surgical approaches and anatomy required of every skull base neurosurgeon
- Experienced faculty, including leading neurosurgeons and ENT surgeons
- Demonstrations of posterolateral transtemporal surgical approaches, as well as endoscopic endonasal anatomy and surgical options
In designing this year’s course, we have taken specific COVID-related precautions, including ensuring social distancing during lectures, and providing masks and personal protective equipment for the laboratory sessions. We will continue to monitor and assess guidelines as they relate to this course.

The Congress of Neurological Surgeons is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) to provide continuing medical education for physicians.

Cancellation Policy: A full refund will be granted if written requests for cancellation are received by August 16, 2021. A full refund, less a $100 processing fee, will be granted if written requests for cancellation are received by September 15, 2021. Refunds will not be given for no shows. Written requests may be emailed to meetings@cns.org.
