Sergeant-at-Arms Program at CNS Annual Meeting
Residents who participate in the Sergeant-at-Arms Program at the 2019 CNS Annual Meeting attend their assigned course for free! When registering for the meeting, they simply select the courses they’re interested in from the drop-down provided. They’ll be contacted by a CNS staff member with their assigned course. This is first-come, first-served with only one opportunity per course. The duties of the Sergeant-at-Arms include scanning attendee badges for the assigned course.
New Live Course for Graduating Residents
The Basis of a Rewarding Neurosurgical Career: A Career Guide for New Attending Physicians and Fellows, August 10–11 in Rosemont, Illinois, is part of a comprehensive curriculum designed by the CNS to help guide participants through the transition period from senior residency to mid-career neurosurgeon. Common challenges facing the new attending physician will be addressed, from the business and medicolegal aspects of neurosurgery to personal growth. Residents save $200 when they register by July 12.
