Sergeant-at-Arms Program at CNS Annual Meeting
Residents who participate in the Sergeant-at-Arms Program at the 2019 CNS Annual Meeting attend their assigned course for free! When registering for the meeting, they simply select the courses they’re interested in from the drop-down provided. They’ll be contacted by a CNS staff member with their assigned course. This is first-come, first-served with only one opportunity per course. The duties of the Sergeant-at-Arms include scanning attendee badges for the assigned course.
New Live Course for Graduating Residents
The Transition to Practice Course, August 10–11 in Rosemont, Illinois, is part of a comprehensive curriculum designed by the CNS to help guide participants through the transition period from senior residency to mid-career neurosurgeon. Common challenges facing the new attending physician will be addressed, from the business and medicolegal aspects of neurosurgery to personal growth. Residents save $200 when they register by July 12.
Remind Your Graduating Residents: Don’t Let Their CNS Benefits Lapse!
In mid-April, each Program Coordinator will receive a box including a personal packet for each graduating resident that highlights the wealth of CNS membership benefits available to them. Please encourage them to fill out the enclosed card with their new practice information and return it to us so that they continue to receive the NEUROSURGERY® Publications, discounts on education and Annual Meeting registration, and much more.
