Event Date:Saturday, October 19, 2019 (All day) to Sunday, October 20, 2019 (All day)
About the Event:
Garni Barkhoudarian, Constantinos G. Hadjipanayis and Robert Spinner
The CNS Oral Boards Review Course has been redesigned to reflect the recent ABNS exam changes and prepare you for the general or subspecialty-based neurosurgical oral exam, with a focus on best patient management studies. By attending the one-and-a-half-day course, you will gain knowledge, confidence, and experience with the new exam format.
Highly interactive, the course prepares you for the case-based nature of the exam with multiple learning formats, including didactic, case presentations, and small-group discussions. One-on-one sessions give you the opportunity to present a case to a faculty member and receive relevant feedback on indications and subsequent follow-through that will aid your performance on the ABNS exam.
As the course takes place two weeks before the exam, you can see where your gaps in knowledge lie and take the right steps to fill those gaps. To achieve the best possible outcome, the CNS provides a multi-pronged learning approach. Register for the course and receive:
- Three videos with preparation and test-taking tips from previous ABNS examiners and attendees
- Pre-course webinar in which subspecialty faculty will share more resources and advice
The CNS designates this activity for a maximum of 13.5 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™.
The CNS Oral Boards Review Course is held immediately prior to the 2019 CNS Annual Meeting in San Francisco—we invite you to stay and continue learning!
Agenda and faculty subject to change
