2018 Spine Complications Course

Event Date:

Friday, February 2, 2018 (All day) to Sunday, February 4, 2018 (All day)

About the Event:

Take your place among a small, highly-qualified group of experts and peers at the 2018 CNS Spine Complications Course. Reach for the Peak: Maximizing Quality in Spine Surgery Through Case Complications Review.

Set in gorgeous Park City, Utah, Reach for the Peak: Maximizing Quality in Spine Complications Review provides a collegial atmosphere to discuss challenging cases and novel management strategies.

This course is uniquely suited to fulfill the NEW ABNS MOC requirement Part IV: Evidence of Evaluation of Performance in Practice, and serves as a morbidity and mortality conference review for surgeons in practice who do not have easy access to attend periodic M & M conference.

Sessions and case presentations cover surgical indications for degenerative disease, tumor, deformity, and trauma, and will immediately impact your practice and patient care.

  • Special lecture and case-based review for those preparing for the ABNS Oral Boards Exam.
  • New cases on controversial topics such as approach-related complications in lumbar fusion, and intervertebral cage and artificial disc misadventures
  • Special focus on challenging cases such as MIS, trauma, deformity, and the aging spine
  • Interactive, case-based discussions on complications avoidance and management that are directly relevant to your practice
  • Review current advances in preoperative diagnostic evaluation, patient assessment, and indications for treatment
  • Attendees can present their own cases for discussion on potential alternate management strategies and salvage techniques

The CNS designates this live activity for a maximum of 20 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™

This course is appropriate for practicing spine surgeons and spine fellows.
