    Course Description

    Join world-renowned faculty and top experts to discuss challenging cases and surgical complications related to brain tumor surgery in a confidential, intimate forum. Engage in case-based learning through shared experiences with faculty and peers. Clinical decisions, operative techniques, and equipment-related issues will be discussed in order to pass along lessons learned, point out safety concerns, and improve the surgical management of patients with brain tumors. Together, you’ll improve surgical outcomes and avoid complications.

    Attendance at the CNS Tumor Complications Course contributes toward fulfilling the Improving Health and Health Care Activities requirement for ABNS continuing certification.     1. Recognize factors that lead to complications and poor outcomes when treating brain tumors
    2. Discuss strategies for neurosurgical complication avoidance and management.
    3. Identify the impact of neurosurgical complications on patient quality of life.
    4. Discuss how neurosurgical complications impact physician wellness and burnout.

    • A valid credit card is required at the time of booking.
    • Cancellations must be made at least 14 days prior to arrival to avoid penalty.
    • Cancellations within 14 days of arrival will result in a charge equal to one night’s room rate and tax.
    • No-shows will also incur a charge for the first night’s room and tax.
