Available Awards

Given in the name of Kenneth Schulman, M.D., this endowed award is for the best paper presented at the annual meeting of the Joint Section of Pediatric Neurological Surgery by a resident-in-training.

The Synthes Award for Resident Research on Spinal Cord and Spinal Column Injury and Synthes Award for Resident Research on Brain and Craniofacial Injury are awarded to the submitters of the best abstracts at the AANS and CNS annual meetings.
AANS and CNS annual meeting abstract submission deadlines

Given to the best paper presented at the AANS Annual Meeting in the Pain Section by either a resident or a young neurosurgeon within 5 years of completion of his or her training.

This is awarded at the AANS and CNS annual meetings to a young faculty member in neurosurgery who has been in practice for less than six years and who has demonstrated outstanding potential for basic science research in the field of neuro-oncology.
