The CNS Education Division and CNS Resident Committee—with your help—are aiming to create a comprehensive resource for neurosurgical fellowship programs.
The directory will include search features, standardized data elements, and other unique factors to keep this profile regularly updated and accurate. The directory will continue as a sustainable resource for neurosurgical residents for years to come.
In order to develop the most valuable and comprehensive directory, we need your help. We request that fellowship programs provide the necessary information using our online form.
Please provide as much information as possible for a comprehensive listing.
We also welcome links to fellowship-prepared promotional videos. The videos will permit fellowships to highlight key aspects of their program and assist applicants in understanding a specific fellowship’s nuances. There are several freely available software programs available to help assist in creating a video (e.g., Apple iMovie, Windows Movie Maker). You may consider assistance from your institution’s audio-visual team. Videos should be approximately 2-5 minutes in length. Contents may include, but are not limited to: (1) a description of the fellowship, (2) fellowship faculty, (3) diagnoses treated, (4) types of procedures with case numbers, (5) inclusion of research, didactics, conferences, (6) accreditation, if applicable, and (7) when to apply. Please upload your video to one of several video-hosting websites (e.g., YouTube, Vimeo) and submit a link to the website URL in the pertinent field on the CNS Online Fellowship Information form (link below). Though video inclusion is optional, we highly recommend this for each program.
