Visa Information

We are honored to have you attend the 2015 CNS Annual Meeting. There are many challenges our international members and attendees face with obtaining visas. Use the following information for ensuring a successful visit to the United States.

Apply Early for Your Visa

We urge you to apply early for your visa. The U.S. State Department advises that an application for a temporary visa to enter the United States requires a longer processing time than in past years.

The decision to grant visas belongs solely to the embassy or consulate. We cannot promise that you or your colleagues will receive a visa. Should your application be denied, we cannot change the decision of the governmental agency.

International Invitation Letters

In order to grant your request for a visa letter, we request your:

  • Name (required)
  • Address (required)
  • Passport number (optional)
  • Date of birth (optional)

For more information about requesting a letter, contact us.

Western Hemisphere Travel Initiative

The Western Hemisphere Travel Initiative (WHTI) requires all citizens of the United States, Canada, Mexico, and Bermuda to have a passport or other accepted document that establishes the bearer’s identity and nationality to enter or depart the United States from within the Western Hemisphere.
