Diana Angius, MD
CNS George Ablin International Fellowship


Dr. Angius is currently a chief resident in neurosurgery at the Instituto Scientifico San Raffaele, Universita Vita-Salute in Milan, Italy. She plans to further her experience in peripheral nerve surgery under the direction of Dr. Robert Spinner at the Mayo Clinic.
Sabri Aydin, MD
CNS George Ablin International Fellowship


Dr. Aydin is an attending neurosurgeon in the Department of Neurosurgery at the VKV American Hospital in Instanbul Turkey. He plans to engage in furthering his knowledge in functional and stereotactic neurosurgery, specifically in the surgical treatment of movement disorders and pain, under the auspices of Dr. Konstantin Slavin at the University of Illinois in Chicago.
Phuong Huynh-Le, MD, PhD
CNS Kenichiro Sugita International Fellowship


Dr. Huynh-Le, an active international member of the CNS, is a neurosurgeon practicing in Ho Chi Minh City in Vietnam. He plans to improve his experience in cerebrovascular surgery, with focus on carotid occlusive disease, under the guidance of Dr. Christopher Loftus of Temple University in Philadelphia, PA.
Jean Quint Oropilla, MD
CNS Kenichiro Sugita International Fellowship


Dr. Oropilla is a neurosurgeon from the Philippines who wishes to gain increased experience in functional and stereotactic radiosurgery, with particular emphasis on the fields of deep brain stimulation, pain surgery, and radiosurgery, all subspecialties which are uncommon in the Philippines. Dr. Oropilla plans to do this under the direction of Dr. Zelma Kiss at the University of Calgary, Canada.
Manish S. Sharma, MD
CNS Lars Leksell International Fellowship


Dr. Sharma is an Assistant Professor of Neurosurgery for Gamma Knife at the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) in New Delhi, India. He plans to gain further experience in Gamma Knife Radiosurgery, with specific interest in brainstem tolerance in treatment of benign lesions. Dr. Sharma will be directed by Dr. Douglas Kondziolka of the University of Pittsburg.
